Santa’s Got Game!
This Fobbie becomes a bonus gift after the gift if opened. With this DIY Fobbie I found this cute Santa ball-in-a-maze game. I painted the DIY Fobbie red then glue gunned the game on top. After I added the ribbon I used some metallic Chenille stems to accent the ribbon and game and also to tie on some candy canes.

Giving HOPE
For decorating this DIY Fobbie, I used Adirondack red inks for the marbling effect and then had a HOPE jingle bell that I glued on top. I wired on the berry/pinecone/garland. I used a crepe paper ribbon and then accented with a jute ribbon and used kraft paper to wrap with for a natural holiday gift look.

Jewels Are A Girl's Best Friend
I often find myself cruising the isles of craft stores looking for interesting things to use on a Fobbie®. While strolling through a sewing isle I saw this bejeweled appliqué  that you would normally sew on a pair of jeans. I thought it would make a lovely addition to a DIY Fobbie®. I wrapped the box with the paper and then I glue a section of the paper on the Fobbie® to match and then glue gunned the jewels on top making an elegant presentation.

Give Your Dog a Bone, or Several
Everyone loves their pets. My sister's dog Max is her sweetheart. She had sent me the latest picture of him and I thought it would be fun to use it in a picture frame Fobbie®. I got a nice metal dog bowl and a bag of chew bones that I wrapped in plastic and placed them in the bowl. I found the cute dog bone ribbon and created this special, but delicious gift for Max.

Wrapped Towels for a Housewarming Gift
I really like texture. While I was shopping one day I came across these colorful waffle weave towels. I knew I would be going to a friends housewarming party in a few days and thought they would be a nice gift. One of the great things about gift wrapping with the Fobbie is that some things just look great as they are. The towels were so colorful, I thought why put them in a box? So I just used a Best Wishes Fobbie with some ribbon and then also wove in an accent ribbon for ex

Sew It's Your Birthday!
Do you have a seamstress in your life? I enjoy wrapping with fabric. It looks lovely and it's reusable. More and more I am on the hunt at estate sales, or the bargin bin at the local fabric store. I stock up and then have it available for a quick gift wrap. I fell in love with this tie-dyed fabric. I took a picture frame Fobbie and a piece of felt and some batting and created a little pin cushion. I then added the colorful pins. A soft tape measure worked perfectly instead of

DIY Felted Christmas Sock Fobbie
I love decorating DIY Fobbies. I'll often wonder the scrapbooking sections to find decorations. I found this cute felted Christmas sock to use. I marbleized this one with some cranberry Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol inks first and then glued the sock down. To make it more decorative I used red tulle and accented with some elegant ribbon. I also used a pre-printed box so no wrapping paper was needed and the box can be reused.

DIY Pinecone Elegance
One of my favorite ways to decorate a DIY Fobbie is with a marbling look. I like to use the Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol inks. I then cut a pinecone in half—they are very hard in the center—and glued gunned it in the center. I picked out ribbon that had pinecones and holly. I also placed some fake holly berries and greens under the Fobbie and cinched it down to hold it in place.

Tool Time
I wanted to give my brother a new toolbox. I of course bought some tools to put inside, but I thought it would be fun to decorate the box with different items for visual impact. I used glitter wire stems and attached a shop towel, screwdriver, wrench and then threaded nuts on the ribbon for more effect. It makes it more engaging to unwrap and feels like a lot more presents!

Yummy Gifts
At the holidays it seems like I'm always going to a party, or I want to bring a little something to a friend or neighbor. I go to a local discount store and pick up a nice loaf pan and bake a yummy banana bread or carrot cake. Once it cools I wrap it in clear plastic wrap and put it back in the pan. Then I Fobbie wrap it for a beautiful presentation. Now they can enjoy the bread as well as have a new loaf pan!

Gift Wrap Highlighting Your Favorite Sport
We all love to pick out the perfect gift for our friends and family. I have a friend who likes rock climb. I happened to be in the store with her one day and noticed that there was flat climbing rope. I looked perfect to take the place of ribbon through a birthday Fobbie!  I bought a couple of feet and a carabiner and wrapped her present with her favorite sports theme.
